Finishing Up

This week I finished my phonograph prints!! They turned out really good, way beter then I had thought they would, which is always good. I also have been looking for a new project to start for next week.

For me, this is the hardest part of having printmaking as an independent study because I have to come up with everything on my own and I never have the slightest idea of what to do next. Some ideas that have crossed my mind have included cardboard reduction prints, another lino print, or a comdination of the sorts. I just need to thing of what I want the print to be of.

Having nothing in mind for my next project I have been searching for insperation on the internet. One site that I stumbled upon that helped me a lot and was http://www.printeresting.org/ . I found this site a few weeks ago and it is really awesome. The site shows so many unique and creative printmaking works and is brimming with insperation.

  1. I can't believe printmaking is your independent study, that is intense! I am so impressed, love these phonograph prints. They have a phonograph museum in korea! (random uh?) I went there last year with my teaching staff, hehe.
